Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Imaging Service Engineer to join our growing team in Oklahoma. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration of advanced medical imaging systems, including SPECT/Nuclear Medicine equipment. Your expertise will ensure the highest performance standards, contributing to excellent patient care by keeping critical equipment operational and compliant with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Equipment Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs for advanced imaging systems (SPECT/Nuclear Medicine equipment) - full training provided
  • Technical Support: Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly while maintaining accurate service records for all equipment.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to all industry regulations and safety protocols, collaborating with healthcare professionals to meet operational standards.
  • Customer Interaction: Build strong client relationships by providing regular updates, clear communication, and responsive service.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee parts inventory and inspect new medical devices to ensure functionality and regulatory compliance.

 

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to regularly stand, walk, sit, and use hands; occasional reaching, climbing stairs, balancing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
  • Physically capable of moving and lifting objects as required.
  • Visual acuity for close, distance, and peripheral vision, including color perception and depth perception.

 

Qualifications

  • An Associate Degree in a technical or electronics field, or equivalent experience (relevant certifications considered in place of a degree).
  • 1+ years of experience in maintaining and troubleshooting medical imaging equipment, including modalities such as X-ray, Ultrasound, MR, CT, PET, and SPECT/Nuclear Medicine systems (preferred).
  • A valid driver’s license with a willingness to travel as needed to support clients.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and colleagues.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and basic networking knowledge.
