Are you an early-career biomedical or technical professional ready to break into the world of medical imaging? We’re hiring a Junior Imaging & Biomedical Engineer to support a growing team servicing diagnostic imaging systems across healthcare sites in Central Iowa.

This is an ideal opportunity for individuals with a background in biomedical engineering, electronics, or the military to transition into a specialized, high-growth industry. Full OEM training and structured mentorship will be provided to help you build a long-term career in medical imaging.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the installation, maintenance, and servicing of CT and MRI equipment

  • Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance and basic repairs under supervision

  • Support senior engineers in troubleshooting imaging system issues on-site

  • Maintain accurate service documentation and contribute to detailed reports

  • Build strong professional relationships with customers and ensure high service standards

  • Travel to customer sites across the region as part of a field-based role


Candidate Profile

We are looking for motivated individuals with a genuine interest in medical technology. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree or technical certification in biomedical engineering, electronics, mechatronics, or a related field

  • At least 6 months of experience in biomedical, imaging systems, medical devices, or other electro-mechanical industries

  • A hands-on, problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn from experienced professionals

  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach

  • A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned region
