Imaging Service Manager Role

About the Role

We are representing a highly respected and fast-growing independent provider of medical imaging services. Due to continued expansion, they are seeking an experienced Medical Imaging Service Manager with a strong background in CT and MR systems. This is an excellent opportunity for an OEM-trained field service engineer to step into a regional leadership role with technical and team management responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support a regional team of field service engineers delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging service.
• Act as the senior escalation point for complex CT and MR technical issues, including on-site support when needed.
• Ensure adherence to service-level agreements (SLAs), preventive maintenance schedules, and OEM performance standards.
• Oversee daily workflow, coordinate installations, and manage technical resource allocation across the territory.
• Collaborate with internal teams (operations, applications, and commercial) to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, and training of technical staff.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience servicing CT and MR equipment in the field.
• OEM training from at least one major manufacturer (e.g., GE, Siemens, Philips, Canon/Toshiba, Hologic).
• Proven ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex imaging system faults.
• Previous leadership, mentoring, or team lead experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong communication, planning, and decision-making skills.
• Willing to travel regionally as part of the role.
