Junior Imaging Service Engineer

Salary - $60000-$70000 (full training OEM paid for)

Location: West Virginia (Field-Based – Flexible within the region)

 

About the Role:

We’re seeking a biomedical engineer or junior level engineer who is eager to learn and grow in the medical imaging field. This role supports a high-demand region in West Virginia and offers structured training and OEM certifications to help you develop into a full-fledged Imaging Service Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Learn to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain medical imaging equipment across multiple modalities
  • Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and routine maintenance
  • Deliver professional support at customer sites, with strong communication and service skills
  • Keep accurate service records, parts logs, and customer documentation
  • Participate in hands-on training and OEM certification programs
  • Collaborate with senior engineers and escalate complex technical issues when needed

 

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of experience in biomedical engineering, biomedical equipment technology, or a related technical field
  • Basic understanding of electronic/electromechanical medical devices
  • Willingness to learn and grow into imaging modalities (e.g., X-ray, CT, MRI)
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the region
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed
  • Must pass background check and drug screening
