Job Title: Electronics Test Engineer

Contract Type: Contract (Inside IR35)- £45-55/hr

We are seeking a skilled Electronics Test Engineer with a proven track record in electronic circuit testing to join our team in Cambridge. This is a high-priority contract role (inside IR35), ideal for someone who thrives in both lab-based and automated testing environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform hands-on testing of electronic circuits at lab level
- Develop and execute automated test procedures
- Collaborate with design teams to influence and implement Design for Test (DFT) strategies
- Support Design Verification Testing (DVT) and Integration, Verification, Validation & Qualification (IVVQ) activities
- Work closely with early-stage prototypes and contribute to design improvements
Requirements:
- Proven experience in electronic circuit testing (lab and automated)
- Solid understanding of DFT, DVT, and IVVQ processes
- Ability to work effectively with early hardware designs
- Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
- Availability to start on short notice preferred
