Imaging Field Service Engineer

Location: Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Maine

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 + Excellent Benefits including Relocation Support!

Equipment: CT Required (Desirable MR)

 

POSITION SUMMARY

 

We are seeking an experienced CT and/or MR Field Service Engineer, ideally OEM-trained, located in or willing to relocate to the MA area or other territories in New England (including Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Maine). This role will involve providing service across the regions, ensuring customers' complex diagnostic imaging equipment operates at peak performance. You will resolve issues through technical expertise, troubleshooting, repairs, calibrations, and verifications. The role is a remote, work-from-home position with travel to customer sites as needed.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide onsite support for service calls, including contract, warranty, and billable services across New England (Boston, MA, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine).
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve service issues and escalate as needed.
  • Perform repairs, software reloads, and hardware replacements to maintain OEM specifications.
  • Generate sales leads, provide equipment training, and support after-hours technical calls.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and contribute to process improvements.

 

Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent in biomedical/electrical/computer engineering technology or related experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of field service experience with CT & MR equipment.
  • OEM training in CT & MR; multi-OEM experience a plus.
  • Willing to travel 50-75% within New England.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, ERP systems experience a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and problem-solving ability.

 

Compensation & Benefits:

 

  • Salary range: $120k - $150k, depending on experience.
