Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 (Depending on experience - negotiable)

The Role
A leading medical imaging service provider is expanding their team and seeking a highly skilled Imaging Field Service Engineer to support customers across the regions. In this position, you’ll be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing a variety of high-end medical imaging systems. You’ll also perform system calibrations, quality assurance checks, and provide technical and software support to ensure equipment operates to the highest standards.
You’ll work closely with healthcare professionals, including radiologists and technicians, to provide excellent service while also keeping accurate records and maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities

Install, troubleshoot, and maintain high-end medical imaging equipment, including X-ray systems

Perform routine preventative maintenance and calibrations in line with standards

Maintain detailed service logs, documentation, and customer communication records

Diagnose and resolve issues related to hardware, software, applications, mechanical, and hydraulic components

Support customers via remote or on-site troubleshooting and technical support

Coordinate with OEMs when escalation or advanced support is needed

Collaborate regularly with clinical teams to stay updated on imaging technologies and user needs
What We’re Looking For
This role would suit a confident and proactive field service engineer with a background in medical imaging. You should be able to work independently, communicate effectively, and manage your schedule efficiently while delivering exceptional support in a clinical environment.
Ideal candidates will have:

3+ years of experience servicing medical imaging systems (X-ray preferred)

Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and IT components of imaging systems

A valid and unrestricted driver’s license with a safe driving record

Willingness to travel within the region and work flexible hours (including emergency call-outs)

Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks associated with servicing equipment
